REEF-FRAME aquariums are made of ultra-clear glass with increased thickness of up to 15 mm/0.59”, eurobraced for extra strength, and bonded with high quality euro-silicone for long-lasting, structural integrity.
REEF-FRAME aquariums are mounted on marine-spec plywood cabinets designed to support the full contour of the glass, with adjustable feet for perfect levelling. REEF-FRAME cabinets are also available in a classic oak finish in addition to black and white.
REEF-FRAME systems benefit from 25mm diameter curved return outlets that provide optimal flow. The REEF-FRAME 350 and 500 models feature dual return outlets that can be connected to either a single or dual return pump system.
The piping is hidden inside a large central overflow box, which has a large surface skimmer with removable comb parts, for easy cleaning.
The downflow pipes are enlarged to promote quieter flow, with a rectangular profile for enhanced circulation.
REEF-FRAME systems include the new ReefGate, high-precision bespoke gate valve on the downflow pipe, allowing for easy regulation of the flow and a near silent operation.
REEF-FRAME systems feature hydrodynamically superior piping that maximizes circulation, with optional connector kits in both metric and USA sizes for piping customization.
The high-performance Reef Spec sumps include a dedicated skimmer chamber with adjustable water height, an optional sump divider for a dedicated refugium chamber (not available for the 170 model), a ReefMat-ready easily removable mechanical filtration compartment, and a bubble trap to prevent air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.
The easily removable mechanical filtration compartment allows for a quick Plug & Play installation of the ReefMat 250/500/1200.
